This is a great project for kids to help with – they can decorate the “paper” used for the fly-goop to adhere to – these work great in garages, barns, and chicken coops and you won’t have to worry about any nasty chemicals. Simply take a paper bag, cut into 2″ wide strips by how ever long you’d like, I make mine about 6″ long, punch a hole in the center & attach a string to hang the fly paper with. Mix 1.4 Cup of corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan; heat until sugar dissolves. Dip the paper into the mixture, removing excess, and hang to drip dry. Hang out of reach of animals and children. These are very sticky and you don’t want them getting into anyone’s hair!
