Solar energy is only the beginning. The global community is moving towards a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future for all. Solar energy is safer, cleaner, and more affordable and economically viable.
Many first world nations like Germany and the Netherlands have already made huge strides in renewable energy technology. However, there are still third world nations that do not have access to basic services in their homes and businesses. These countries rely heavily on fossil fuel and nuclear generated power grids that are established by their governments.
Why is solar energy the future?
Solar power is fast becoming a more affordable energy alternative and is safer for the environment and natural ecosystems of the earth. Great breakthroughs are being made in solar cell technology and energy storing methods. Many people are opting to power their modern homes and businesses with more environmentally alternatives, instead of relying on power plants which utilize nuclear technology or fossil fuels.
Not only is solar energy affordable but it is also safer, cleaner and sustainable and a means for people to become more independent than relying on government established power grids. The power plants that are used to energize these grids, damage and pollute the environment and deplete the earth’s natural resources. This can cause electricity prices to fluctuate and increase over time. Solar energy is powered by the Sun which is constantly producing heat and energy throughout the day. Once you have solar panels on your house’s roof you can have free and cheap electricity and say goodbye to electricity bills.
Yes, solar energy is a free source of electricity! But what about rainy, cloudy days when there is no sun?
Your solar panels will still produce clean electricity on grey cloudy days and even in winter time. In fact, modern Photo voltaic panels perform better in colder temperatures. Solar panels harness both visible and infrared light to produce electricity that is usable. The total output from your PV panels will dip slightly though. Freezing temperatures are less of a concern when it comes to solar panels. Modern PV panels can withstand even the harshest of elements. Solar panel output is inversely proportioned to temperature. The colder it gets the cleaner electricity your panels will be produce. Germany for instance, despite their brutal winters is on track to generate 100% of its electricity from sustainable green energy. Solar energy is only the begging, its a beginning to a more sustainable and economically viable future for you and your family or business.
